The Alexander Foundation’s board members and advisors contribute many years of experience in business, finance, and education to benefit the well-being and success of the foundation.

John Inman

John Inman is in his 13th year as men's golf coach at the University of North Carolina. After spending 12 years playing on the PGA Tour, Inman returned to his home state and to his alma mater and continues to bring enthusiasm, pride, and experience to the Tar Heel program. Inman, a native of Greensboro, NC, and a 1984 graduate of Carolina, came to Chapel Hill from Roswell, GA, where he lived for nine years while playing on the PGA Tour (1987–1998).

Inman won two tournaments during his pro career - the 1987 Provident Classic and the 1993 Buick Southern Open. He posted eight top-10 finishes and 32 top-25 finishes. Inman brings a plethora of college playing experience to his duties as a coach. He was a three-time All-American (1982–84) and three-time All-ACC performer (1982–84) while on the Tar Heel Team from 1981 to 84. He won the NCAA Individual Championship in 1984 and was the recipient of the 1984 Fred Haskins Award as the National Player of the Year. Inman also broke Ben Crenshaw's 17-under-par record by two strokes in the NCAA Championship.

John Inman and his wife, Patti, have been very involved in the foundation from its inception. From acquiring donations to advising on decisions, they have both made and continue to make a positive difference for the foundation.

Colleen Schon

Colleen Schon, along with her husband David Schon, founded The Alexander Foundation in 2003. Colleen currently serves as the Treasurer on the board but is also heavily involved in recruiting and fundraising for events the foundation holds.

Colleen, Senior Vice President, Investments, has been a financial advisor with Raymond James & Associates since 2005 and has extensive experience in the financial services industry, beginning with Merrill Lynch and Co. in 1986. Since 2005, she has served on the Raymond James & Associates Women’s Advisory Council, which supports and mentors women financial advisors.

Originally from Flint, Michigan, Colleen and her husband, who have been married since 1980, currently live in Grand Blanc, Michigan. They have two adult children, a daughter, Casey, and a son, Chad.

Alan Farah

Alan is a proud retiree who spent over 35 years in the automotive industry, dedicating his career to enhancing the customer experience. Known for his commitment to service and attention to detail, Alan built lasting relationships and made a meaningful impact across the industry.

Now enjoying retirement, Alan fills his days with activities he loves—golfing, swimming, and taking long walks. Above all, he treasures quality time with his family and friends, believing those moments are what truly matter most.

Dave Schon

In 2003, David Schon, alongside his wife of 30 years, Colleen, founded The Alexander Foundation. David currently serves as the President of the board. He is intensely involved in organizing events, fundraising, and all other aspects of the foundation.

David is the Managing Director of Rard Enterprises, which specializes in Real Estate investments and is also partner and lead designer for North Sky Designs.

David is an avid classic Pontiac car collector and advisor. Originally from Flint, Michigan, David now lives in Grand Blanc, Michigan. He has two adult children, Casey and Chad.

Casey Sage

Casey has been involved in fundraising for The Alexander Foundation since 2003. She is the Community Events Director who helps organize the events the foundation puts on to raise money.

Casey is a Financial Planning Consultant at Anthem Advisors of Raymond James and was formerly an educator for 18 years. She values building meaningful relationships with those she works with because it leads to trust and a better understanding of one another. Her passion for building relationships and helping others extends past just her profession. Casey is the Secretary for Impact100 Genesee County which provides grants for non-profits in Genesee County, a board member for Funding the Future, a non-profit that teaches kids across the country about financial literacy and a board member and Ambassador for Clarkston Chamber of Commerce. She is also the founder of Social Oak SouthGen, which is a ladies’ group that supports local businesses and brings women together monthly to strengthen the community.

Casey currently resides in Grand Blanc, MI with her husband, Eric and son, Brayden. In her personal time, she enjoys attending her son’s school and sporting events, reading, and relaxing with her family in northern Michigan.

Diane Rayner

Diane became involved with The Alexander Foundation in 2012. She has passionately supported the Foundation by fundraising, encouraging golf teams to sign up, and volunteering numerous hours to make the annual golf outing a huge success. Diane brings dedication, commitment, and a ton of energy to the board and The Alexander Foundation.

Originally from Colorado Springs, Colorado, Diane currently lives in Flint, MI with her partner of 17 years, Kevin, and their daughter, Emily. She is very involved in fundraisers at Flint Kearsley, HS, where her daughter is on the tennis team.

Diane currently works at Floor Source Wholesale & Supply in Flint, Michigan, and has been there since 2004.
